Financial drama lines up impressive cast…
Variety is reporting that Christian Bale (‘Exodus: Gods and Kings,’ ‘Knight of Cups’) and Ryan Gosling (‘Only God Forgives,’ ‘Drive’) are set to join Brad Pitt on the cast of the financial drama ‘The Big Short,’ with Adam McKay writing and directing.
The film, announced back in March, is based on the Michael Lewis bestseller ‘The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine’ and follows several key figures who were involved with the build-up of the housing bubble and credit crisis during the 2000s.
In addition to starring, Pitt will produce the drama with DeDe Gardner through their Plan B shingle.
