Crime thriller fills out its supporting cast.
Variety is reporting that Ruth Wilson (‘The Lone Ranger,’ ‘Luther’), Boyd Holbrook (‘The Host’) and ‘Downton Abbey’ star Dan Stevens are to join Liam Neeson in the crime thriller ‘A Walk Among The Tombstones.’
As previously reported the film is based Lawrence Block’s 1992 novel of the same name, and focuses on a former NYPD cop (Neeson) and recovering alcoholic who is haunted by past mistakes. Now working as an unlicensed private eye, he is hired to find the kidnapped wife of a drug dealer.
Scott Frank is on board to direct with filming set to kick off in the coming weeks. Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Double Feature Films will produce with Danny DeVito and his banner, Jersey Films.
