Mickey Rourke has confirmed he will star in the upcoming movie Ice Man: Confessions Of A Mafia Contract Killer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film follows the true story of Richard ‘The Ice Man’ Kuklinski, the killer who led a double life as a professional assassin and a family man in suburban New Jersey.
The movie will be basedon the book by Philip Carlo with Blow scribe David McKenna penning the screenplay:
“This is a role Mickey Rourke was born to play,” said the project’s producer Matty Beckerman. “As a huge fan of David McKenna’s work, I am thrilled to have him on board.”
