Ronan Keating auditions for THE HOBBIT Jedward also rumoured for the 2012 LOTR prequel

The Boyzone star talks about his audition for the Lord Of The Rings prequel

Ronan Keating has hinted at his involvement in the upcoming Lord Of The Rings prequel ‘The Hobbit’, suggesting he may even move down under if he got the job. The Boyzone singer told The Sun Newspaper that he is moving to Hollywood to audition for movie roles.

“We’ll get the kids enrolled in school there. It may be for six months or we could even give it a year. I’ve done a couple of castings… I’ve done an audition for ‘The Hobbit’. That starts shooting in New Zealand in July so we’d be based there for quite a while instead of LA if it happens.”

The Sun also reports that Irish duo were invited to audition for ‘The Hobbit’ after being spotted on the X-Factor. While they might have the perfect personality for Hobbits, their involvement is the worst rumour surrounding the movie since David Tennant’s rumoured casting as Bilbo Baggins.

The Hobbit has just been moved from it’s 2011 release date to late 2012.
