Robert Rodriguez acquires rights to Fire and Ice
Robert Rodriguez is remaking the ’80s animated feature Fire and Ice.
The original picture was a collaboration between animator
Ralph Bakshi and fantasy/science fiction artist Frank Frazetta.
According to Aint it Cool News, Rodriguez has acquired the rights to the sci-fi adventure story.
“I control the rights to this one. So it’s actually in my power to set it up and get it made, which wasn’t the case on other projects,” Rodriguez said.
