Robin Williams is Worlds Greatest Dad

in new, Goldthwait helmed, black comedy.

Robin Williams will star in black comedy ‘World’s Greatest Dad’.

By the title, you might be expecting ‘Love Actually Part 2′, but rejoice – Richard Curtis is nowhere to be seen!

Instead, the plot revolves around a single father (Williams) who discovers his son dead after an “embarrassing accident” as it has been described elsewhere for the faint of heart.

In fact the “embarrassing accident” is a freak masturbation accident – in order to cover up this “sticky” situation, the teacher/dad (Williams) pens a suicide that is accidentally leaked to the student paper. The note goes on to become famous prompting him to pen a whole journal for his deceased kid.

Standup comic-turned-director Bobcat Goldthwait has written the script and will helm the film.

Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm will produce through their Darko Entertainment company.

The ‘Donnie Darko’ filmmakers are also involved with ‘I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell’, an adaptation of Tucker Max’s memoirs.
