Batman’s Robin Gets His Own TV Show

Batman’s sidekick Robin has landed his own TV show.The ‘Boy Wonder’, known for providing catchy quips, fruity costume and homoerotic subtext, will be coming to the small screen in a live-action pilot from Smallvile producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson and filmmaker McG.


The potential series, called The Graysons, will follow the early years of the rebellious acrobatic kid before he meets Bruce Wayne and his cowled alter ego. The story will be set in modern times and follow young DJ Grayson as he faces challenges involving first loves, young rivals and his family as he grows up.



Robin was most recently played on the big screen by Chris O’Donnell in 1997’s Batman + Robin, although he was famously portrayed in the 1960s TV series by Burt Ward.
