Acting legend circling role on Miracle Mop film…
Robert De Niro has reportedly entered into talks to reteam with ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ co-star Jennifer Lawrence and director David O. Russell for ‘Joy,’ the rags to riches story of Miracle Mop creator Joy Mangano.
Gearing up for a February star, the film tells of how Mangano, a struggling Long Island single mom of three, became one of the America’s most successful entrepreneurs with her self-wringing invention.
According to the folks at THR, DeNiro would be playing Mangano’s father.
The film would mark the veteran actor’s third time working with Lawrence and O. Russell, having also worked with the pair on ‘American Hustle.’
