Helmer to return to the thriller genre for next directorial effort.
Rob Reiner (‘A Few Good Men,’ ‘Stand By Me,’ ‘Misery,’ ‘The Princess Bride’) has closed a deal to take the helm of the psychological thriller ‘You Belong to Me,’ reports THR.
The film, penned by David Murray, centres on “a psychiatrist who does the one thing you are never supposed to do with your patients: talk about yourself.” ‘You Belong to Me’ has being likened to ‘Cape Fear.’
Richard Lewis of Southpaw Entertainment banner will produce with Scott Steindorff and Alan Greisman.
Casting for the leads will commence in the coming weeks with production set to kick off in New York later this year.
