Pop singer Rihanna has been linked to a proposed remake of romantic thriller The Bodyguard.
The New York Daily News reports that the singer has been approached to lead a “young and sexy” reboot of the 1992 film, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
An insider has claimed that the star held meetings in New York over the weekend to discuss future film projects, saying: “She has wanted to do movies for a while now.”
The original “Bodyguard” starred Whitney Houston as a music star who hires Kevin Costner to protect her from a stalker.
