Richard Coyle and Leonor Watling to Lead Irish Rom-Com FOOD GUIDE TO LOVE

Principal photography starts next month in Dublin.

Richard Coyle (‘Grabbers,’ ‘Pusher’) and Spanish actress and singer Leonor Watling (‘The Oxford Murders,’ ‘Paris, je t’aime’) are attached to star in the romantic comedy ‘The Food Guide To Love’ for husband-and-wife writer/director team, Dominic Harari and Teresa De Pelegri (‘Only Human’).

Talking to IFTN, the directors described the plot of the Dublin-set film as a “dysfunctional love story between an Irish food writer named Oliver Byrne and a politically committed Spanish woman called Bibiana. It’s a comedy of romantic errors.”

Harari and de Pelegri co-wrote the screenplay with Irish screenwriter Eugene O’Brien (‘Eden,’ ‘Pure Mule’).

The supporting cast will include David Wilmot (‘Good Vibrations’), Bronagh Gallagher (‘Grabbers’) Lorcan Cranitch (‘Rome’), Ger Ryan (Raw), Chris Newman (‘Aisling’s Diary’) and Michelle Beamish (‘Eden’).

Locations that will be used during the six weeks shoot in Dublin include Camden Street, Grantham Street, Grand Canal, Lincoln Place and Charlotte Quay.
