Ryan Reynolds talks X-Men: Deadpool movie
Ryan Reynolds has revealed some of the possible contenders he’d like to do battle with in his proposed Deadpool project.
The actor told MTV that “a lot of different villains” are being considered for the Wolverine spin-off.
“You could do a whole bunch of villains in [the first film], or you could just have Deadpool going up against one guy. We’ll see,” he said.
“I’m hoping Cable will be in it. Look, I’ve made no secret that I love that character.”
The actor, 33, also admitted that he’d like to bring back some of the bad guys from the comic book’s early days.
“I also love some of the more preliminary characters at the beginning of the series. I like Ajax – that’s an easier character to put in. And Black Tom,” he added.
Wolverine – X-Men Origins is still showing at Irish cinemas nationwide.
