Reitman Pushed Out of Ghostbusters 3?
Ivan Reitman may not be directing the next Ghostbusters movies.
Sony Pictures reportedly wants to remove director and replace him with a younger filmmaker.
Sony is said to be eager for its Ghostbusters revamp, which will see the original characters hand over the reins to new recruits.
Reitman’s summer schedule will be taken up by filming Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman comedy Friends With Benefits, the same time that production on Ghostbusters 3 is slated to start to make its 2011 release date.
