I’m With Cancer scribe pens Young@Heart
Will Reiser (I’m With Cancer) is in negotiations to pen a narrative version of Young@Heart for Working Title.
Working Title picked up the remake rights to Young@Heart in 2007. The first draft of the script was written by Bob Nelson.
The original documentary was directed by Stephen Walker. It followed a group of Northampton, Mass., seniors “who, under the tutelage of a younger choir director, sing versions of songs from artists such as The Clash, Coldplay and James Brown.”
Young@Heart made $4 million when it was released in the States.
