‘Drag me to Hell’ director linked to ‘Monster Zoo’ adaptation.
Many of this last week’s headlines about Sam Raimi featured talk of the man going to hell (for instance HERE), now it seems he’s off to zoo in the upcoming adaptation of Doug TenNapel’s graphic novel “Monster Zoo”, says the trades.
‘Monster Zoo’ is a action-adventure story set in motion when an ancient idol is discovered and transported to a zoo in the States. There, the idol’s spirits awakens and starts to mutate the caged zoo animals. A group of teens band together to stop the idol (and animals) from destroying the world.
This will be a live action adaptation of the graphic novel though as yet, no writer has been confirmed.
