Rachel Weisz attached to the political drama “Whistleblower”
“The Constant Gardener” actress Rachel Weisz has signed up to star in political drama The Whistleblower.
The film will revolve around a Nebraska police officer who serving as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and later exposes a sex trafficking scandal covered up by the United Nations.
Larysa Kondracki and Ellis Kirwin based the script on the story of Kathryn Bolkovac, a U.N. peacekeeper who went to Bosnia in 1999. Kondracki is making her directorial debut on the project, reports Variety.
