This was ok, probably the best Mission Impossible since the original, but still not a great film. The entire plot felt like a vehicle for stunts and gadgets, it shouldn't be like that.
Simon Pegg stopped this from being a disaster, he brought the film up from a 1.5 to 3.

One of the better book-to-film conversions of the series. Because of how many characters they had cut from previous films there was quite a few that had to be forced in - some of whom are only there for one or two scenes, which was a little awkward.
Ended at a good point, though a little predictable for my tastes - it does make me want to to see the next one.
There is a dancing scene, when it started I was very concerned about the direction the movie was going, but they pulled it off, it worked in the context it was placed.
My major complaint is not with the film, but with Vue cinemas: 30 full minutes of advertising and a handful of trailers before the film started. I was disgusted with that. I have half a mind to make a complaint. I know they make money on the advertising and I know I am the product being sold but it was the first time I felt used by a cinema, it made me feel dirty.

Very enjoyable, a big improvement on the third outing too. If you liked the series, you'll really like this, if you don't like Resident Evil you won't, pretty simple.

Not as bad as I thought it would be.

A fantastic cast always leaves me hoping for something great, this was average though. That made me sad.

It was ok, not amazing though.

I wish I had stuck to my guns with my 'I don't want to see' decision. Awful, just awful. No adventure, plot, fun, humour, or excitement.

It was good enough to keep me watching. I saw the trailer for the Hurt Locker before it, that looks great!

Wow. I expected very little of this film but it was phenomenal. I've been recommending it to everyone.
