The main problem with Terminator Salvation is the story they decided to tell, its a well made film, plenty of action and gripping from start to finish but it doesn't really add to the franchise. We don't care how Kyle Reese met John Connor, we just want to see the circumstances of how he was sent to the past. Not enough terminator action either, Sam Worthington was not a real terminator. A grand summer movie but nowhere near as good as the original duo.

It really helps if you have some political knowledge seeing this movie. It has great one liners but is slow to start and ultimately goes round in circles. It's a nice gentle watch.

I loved it, such a classic. Beats all modern day animations, great to see it revitalised. The layering and texturing of the 3D world takes it to another level. I don't think I can watch the original again after seeing the 3d version.

Suberb, I haven't stopped telling everyone how good this film is since I saw the preview yesterday (thanks Movies.ie) My only complaint is that Stiller really only has one acting mode and that's Zoolander mode. Everyone else is a revelation and perfectly cast. Wish Steve Coogan was in it for longer, he needed more screen time.

This film was just built as a showcase for CGI, there is minimal story, minimal dialogue, minimal acting skills. It was made for the director and nobody else, avoid at all costs!

Minority Report, Meets the Matrix, Meets The Da Vinci Code. Leave your brain at the door and enjoy the biggest popcorn fest you'll see all summer. I think this is the first film in a long time that I want to go see a second time!

I disagree with the below review, I saw this in America recently also, I loved it, much better than the original. All the characters have been fleshed out and matured, compared to last time where they just came across as annoying school children. The film is faithful to the C.S Lewis book but expands many scenes to give greater depth. I'd have no problem recommending this!
