It was interesting. I'd heard that hair was a huge deal in African American culture so I didn't think it was the exposé that Chris Rock wanted it to be. So it didn't really merit the hyperbolic language that Oprah lauded on it. Mainly just a funny movie, and very forgettable.

It was okay. Why did it take the best part of a year to be released in Europe?

Moves too quickly and fails to create an epic sense of adventure that it should. Alice's age change means that the important message the Carrol was trying to make about the treatment of children turns into a cliché story of escapism. The performance from Helena Bonham Carter saves the film whereas Alice's lackluster lead tackling of the film means that the most important character is boring. Don't even get me started on the horrific dialogue between Alice's relatives at the start. Incredibly disappointing. Let it be noted that Tim Burton isn't a creative genius if he uses the same, annoying set up for every film he makes.

Sandra Bullock proving that she is most definitely one of the strongest money making actresses in Hollywood. Didn't expect much from it but was a real surprise. Watch with caution if you're not into typical 'white woman saves the world' movies but give it a chance. The sentiment feels genuine. This isn't your typical true movie.

Gritty and silly. An epic fail for pandering to awards season.

Stunning film. Sidique's acting seriously touches a nerve amongst anyone who has ever felt underestimated.

Great tension and the type of film that Mel Gibson does best. Like Eagle Eye (2008), this film deserves better than the reviews it's getting.

Truly awful but The Rock always makes a likable character.

Meh. This film isn't memorable like Juno or Superbad but the acting is solid and there are a few good one liners.

Beautiful, if unrealistic, movie that doesn't too crudely make a point.
