Really enjoyed this, although it started off a bit weak, I remember whispering to my other half "this is kinda crap isn't it".. but by the end I'd been completely won over...Its great to see an Irish movie that actually takes chances for a change and doesn't just pander to the audience in the typical oirish way, at certain points the low budget showed on screen but I would recommend this to anyone with 90 minutes to spare who is not easily offended.

Saw this last night, yikes...best avoided - the silence in the cinema was deafening for the most part...3 reasonable laughs in the movie and woefully predictable

started off a tad bit slow but it picked up and it never slowed down! I give this movie easily 8 out of 10,although I have to admit I preferred Borat ever so slightly

The writing is horrible, and at 2 1/2 hours, it's too long by about,um,2 hours.Jumping forward in time, then jumping backward in time, then forward again did not help to tell the story at all. And, when the big twist appears at the end,I was totally disappointed with the entire smug mess.

The Boat That Rocked

Performances are OK, the script is pretty flat and although there were quite a few people giggling around me at the cinema there were no real laugh out loud moments. If the script had been tighter, the movie 30 minutes shorter, the music wasnt soo overwhelming and a more complete plot been in place then it may have been a nice little movie.
