Friends With Benefits

A surprisingly above average by the books rom-com, that while sticking almost entirely to the standardized formula for this kind of thing, manages to use it in new charming ways. With sparkling performances from both Timberlake and Kunis, whether or not their protagonists can stay friends is irrelevant, cause we, the audiences, is benefiting from it anyway.

Fright Night

Funny and well place dramedy with a few shock scares thrown in for good measure. Wonderfully realized and Perfectly cast (With a possible breakthrough role form David Tennant), Fright Night really is more Bite than Bark.

Captain America: The First Avenger

Charming, old fashioned but unfortunately a lil too unwhelming. Captain America provides a powerful but unfortunately predictable, patriotic punch to the cynical superhero genre of today.

Cowboys & Aliens

Loud, brash and in desperate need of a plot revision. Cowboys and Aliens is exactly that. Yet despite going in guns blazing, cant help but be found underwhelming.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Easily the one of the best movies of the summer and, even if it is slightly more Rise of the Special Effects, that Rise of the Apes. Whether or not you've seen or were/area fan of the original is irrelevant, you're in for a real treat.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2

Alright I can see where the hype is coming from and to be fair I can see why its received from its fanbase, but I still find the DH,Pt II like almost all HP films almost impenetrable to outsiders.

Beginners

A slow subtle tale that remains extremely hampered by some fair overly hammy acting by McGregor.

The Tree of Life

Beautiful and complex story that only grows and expands the more you try to understand and accept it. You really won't see anything like this elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and see this.

The Guard

In Bruges meets Hot Fuzz, and about twice as funny.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for mindless violence.

Guess it's true what they say, It ain't easy being green.

Bridesmaids

With a razor script and top knotch cast, Brides Maids proves to be not only a match made in Heaven but also proves to be the most bloke accessible "chick flick" since Mean Girls.
