enjoyable, well written and acted comedy with excellent chemistry between all 3 of the leads

perfect popcorn fare, the relationship between Holmes and Watson is dealt with. Minor issues with the casting of McAdams, her accent in particular is poor. Nicely set up at the end for a sequel too.

excellent thriller until the last 30 minutes when it gets a bit silly and unbelievable.

see it on the big screen for the special effects only. The story is a bit melodramatic

decent comedy, some jokes fall a little flat. becomes a little laboured at the end. Would be an excellent DVD rental

wonderful film, that is computer animated rather than a computer animated film (if that makes sense). As with all Pixar films, it has a warmth and heart that others just can't seem to do. Highly recommended

solid DVD rental, tries to take the best bits from several films, and fails to be superior to any of them. Starts out claustrophobic sci-fi chiller, devolves into average thriller

3d doesn't add much, but it's such a wonderful film you won't care

great film, a treatment on how aliens would integrate into human society, rather than a battle for superiority. Highly recommended.

Great film, the fact that I didn't notice it's almost 3 hours long is testament to how well you get brought into its world.

a romcom it's ok not to hate. Follows several interconnected storylines, and doesn't really come to any conclusions about love or marriage. good rental film

or Heroes: the movies. Despite a bright premise - the treatment of people with abilities in the "real world" - it does fall a little short of where it wants to be. DVD worthy
