Good effects and a bit of fun but way too much teen angst. Trailer tells you all you need to know about the story, by the numbers.

Good but not great. Harrelson is very good, maintaining a menacing air throughout. And the film does a good job of showing the real world potential consequences of an F'd up cop. But the story is all over the place and doesn't deliver, feels like they couldn't decided how to end it either.

The best comedy I've seen in ages! The use of erudite language in the script is spot on and not over used (unlike Pierre's Bounty). Full of laughs from start to finish with an ever so slight hint of sadness. Gleeson is fantastic as well as the supporting cast. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Not bad but not great either. It felt like a 2 hour trailer, like they wanted this first one out of the way so as to lead up to the Avengers films. The first part wasn't bad, good acting and the effects to make him smaller are very well done. But when it should get going it just mashes up a lot of action scenes into what feels like a montage which was very poor.

A really impressive film. The effects are incredible and the story is great too. Highly recommend it, best film of the summer.

Very funny film, if you like the show you'll like this, but you don't have to know the show at all to find this funny.

Wow! Go with an open mind and you'll enjoy it! Go already expecting something and you'll come out thinking 'that was MAD'. It's a fantastic bit of cinema with some stunning visuals and a thought provoking and evocative narrative. Film of the year so far in my opinion.

Has some really funny parts but it's not consistently funny enough to keep you laughing all the way through what is a long film.
