Excellent. Not without flaws, but a joy to the eyes. Knightly is perfect as Anna, the only issue I had was Johnson as Vronsky. Not for everyone, but this will be in my Top 5 of 2012, without a doubt.

Quite enjoyed this, a real sleeper. Fun, easy watching. I felt it was missing a stronger cast but it passed the time for me quite pleasantly.

I really enjoyed this one. All very likable, fun and light. A Rom-com that is a bit better the norm.

One of those films that I really wanted to like but just didn't Painfully slow, unlikable characters, unpleasant story... I can live with any one of these issues but all three together spell disaster.
Interesting how divided the audience was on this one. I heard everything from "Wow" to "Worst film ever!" I wouldn't quite say worst ever, but won't be in best of list for 2012.

As a prequel to the Shrek series, this film works very well. Originally planned as a straight to video release, the decision to make it in 3D for the big screen was fully justified. The story is quirky, funny and engaging. The characters are generally likable (or not so likable in the right places)and the voice talents work well. Where this film stands out, and I can't believe that I am saying this, is in the 3D. It is truly spectacular, by far and away the best that I have seen. I have been generally skeptical about 3D, but here you can see the true value. It's not a case of the odd sword coming towards you, but the detail in the background and the depth in the movement. Good movie, brilliant 3D.

This one starts off looking to fly in the face of the traditional rom-com but eventually falls back on the standard cliches and storylines. It's a good rom-com, but ultimately it is a rom-com and just not as different from all of the others as it pretends to be. That said, easy watching, some funny moments, a bit over-long but better than your average for this kind of movie.

Everybody is trying to liken this to something, I suppose that what happens when Spielberg meets Abrams. My own take is that it is part ET, part Goonies part Alien. But that is not being totally fair to this film, which is excellent in it's own right. Great story, great look, great fun. Highly recommended.
Gig up for the train wreck, by the way. Amazing to watch.

More of the same really, exactly what you expect from a Pirates movie, although this one is more of a Captain Jack movie than anything else. Big sets, big fight scenes, big characters but overall, more of the same. Won't change the world but the 2 hours odd did pass quickly...

While I did enjoy Hanna, I didn't love it. One or two plot holes and a feeling of where it could have gone left me somewhat unfulfilled, but that's not to say that this isn't a good movie. Excellent action sequences along with brilliant performances from Ronan, Blanchett and Banna ensure that this film works and works well. Indeed Blanchett is the closest thing to Cruella DeVille that I have seen in a long time. 7/10

Unless you are a major fan, just don't. Poor poor stuff.
