Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint joins the cast of new indie film Cherry Bomb
Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, (aka Ron Weasley- that’s the red head bloke for those non-potty-Potter fans) has joined the cast of new indie film ‘Cherry Bomb’.
The movie follows best friends Malachy (Grint) and Luke (Robert Sheehan), who embark on a wild weekend of drink, drugs and sex with a beautiful but troubled stranger (Kimberley Nixon).
However, what starts out as a game soon becomes deadly serious when the trio find themselves unable to stop the wild ride they have set in motion.
Production on the film, penned by Irish playwright and screenwriter Daragh Carville, began last week.
Cherry Bomb is scheduled for release next year.
