With the new Terminator trailer hitting the web, Movies.ie asks should McG’s Terminator have an 18s rating?

With the new trailer for Terminator Salvation causing a stir online all eyes are firmly fixed on McG and the future of the Terminator franchise. Awesome as it looks; one thing remains unclear – what is the rating of this new Terminator pic?

Lasts year McG revealed that there would be a scene in the movie that sees Blair Williams, played by Moon Bloodgood, topless in the rain. Such a scene would suggest the director is looking for an 16s/18s rating.

At this year’s WonderCon the actress spoke about the scene suggesting it had a deeper meaning, rather than simply doing it to show off some skin. But will the scene make it into the final cut? Aside from the obvious statement that a lower rating equals more bums on seats, Terminator Salvation also has a huge toy deal so will the studio be aiming for a PG-13 rating in the US?

Judging by today’s trailer MG looks to be offering a gritty, violent, and thoroughly entertaining Terminator movie but does it it need to be 18s – have your say in the poll and comment area below!
