Movies.ie calls for your votes on who will be the bigger winners at this years Academy Awards.
And the nods are in! With the 2011 Academy Awards finally announced this morning, Awards season is officallly in full swing! And it seems this year belongs to the Royals with “The King’s Speech” leading the race with a whooping 12 nominations, including best picture, director (Tom Hooper), actor (Colin Firth), supporting actress (Helena Bonham Carter) and supporting actor (Geoffrey Rush).
Meanwhile those Coen boys have managed to yet again swing ten nods for their gritty period drama, appropirately titled ‘True Grit”. Suprising to some, the favourite ”The Social Network” only managed the thirdspot with eight nominations but who do you think will take home the Oscar?
