Planet of the Apes reboot still in the works
The planned reboot of the Planet of the Apes film series is reportedly still in the works.
According to reports, Fox studios has hired Street Kings writer Jamie Moss to rework an Apes script written by Scott Frank, who has since left the project.
Frank’s original script, titled Caesar, centred on the genetic experimentation on apes that led to their evolution and conquest of man. Frank apparently parted ways with Fox after it decided to go in a different direction with the film.
No production date has been announced for the flick.
