THR has learned that Brad Pitt is being courted by 20th Century Fox to re-team with his ‘Interview With the Vampire’ co-star Tom Cruise for ‘Go Like Hell,’ director Joseph Kosinski’s upcoming adaptation of the A. J. Baime book of the same name.
As revealed back in October, Cruise is attached to portray former racing champion turned engineer Carroll Shelby in the project, which tells the true story of the competition between the Ford Motor Company and Italian sports car designer Enzo Ferrari, which culminated at the 1966 Le Mans race.
Pitt was previously attached to long gesting project, back when Michael Mann behind the camera.
Lucas Foster and Alex Young are on board to produce with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth (‘Edge of Tomorrow,’ ‘Fair Game’) providing the script.
