Tina Fey producing with eye towards starring.
Jason Moore, who directed the sleeper hit ‘Pitch Perfect,’ has entered into talks with Universal Pictures to take the director’s chair for the comedy ‘The Nest,’ according to Deadline.
Set up as a potential starring vehicle for ’30 Rock’ star Tina Fey, the Paula Pell-scripted comedy follows two thirtysomething sisters who “come home to find their parents’ house has been put up for sale. They spend a last wild weekend together, bonding and feuding and finally growing up.”
Fey, who is currently in production on ‘The Muppets’ sequel ‘The Muppets…Again,’ will produce ‘The Nest’ through her Little Stranger Inc. banner.
