Peter Mullan Heads To PARADISE

Actor/filmmaker lines up his next directing gig.

Peter Mullan (‘Top of the Lake,’ ‘Welcome to the Punch,’ ‘Neds’) is stepping behind the camera to direct ‘Paradise,’ a movie that chronicles the founding of Celtic Football Club.

Described by THR as ‘Gangs of New York’ meets ‘Field of Dreams’ in Victorian Glasgow, the film will tell the story of Irish Marist priest Brother Walfrid, who founded the legendary Scottish football club at a catholic church in Glasgow back in 1887.

‘Paradise’ will be produced by Peter Broughan (‘The Flying Scotsman,’ ‘Rob Roy’).
