R-rated comedy puts Shankman in the director’s chair…
‘Hairspray’ and ‘Rock of Ages’ director Adam Shankman has closed a deal to direct Peter Dinklage (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’) in the r-rated comedy ‘O’ Lucky Day.’
First announced back in 2013, the comedy features a script by Andrew Dodge (‘Bad Words’) and follows a conman who tells people he is a real-life leprechaun. According to Deadline, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift will take a pass at the script.
In addition to starring, Dinklage will produce the film with Mary Parent and Cale Boyter of Disuption Entertainment.
