Comedy remake has an interesting addition.
Deadline has learned that Sean Penn (‘This Must Be The Place’) is in negotiations to take a small but pivotal supporting role in the upcoming remake of ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty.’
With Ben Stiller directing and starring, the comedy centers on a timid magazine photo manager who daydreams of exciting adventures, only to find himself in a true-life adventure of his own when he goes in search of a missing negative.
Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Shirley MacLaine, Kathryn Hahn, Patton Oswalt (‘Step Brothers’) and Josh Charles (‘The Good Wife’) are all set to co-star, with Stiller directing from a screenplay by ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ scribe Steve Conrad.
