Penelope Cruz is line to join the cast of upcoming film Melancholia.
Director Lars Von Trier’s “psychological disaster movie” was reportedly written with Cruz in mind for the lead.
Little information has been released regarding the plot of the film however one earlier teaser shows a large planet orbiting dangerously close to Earth.
Von Trier insisted that the movie is a psycho-drama, despite its thematic sci-fi and disaster elements.
