Dutch director Paul Verhoeven is eyeing a return to the world of erotic thrillers.
The ‘Basic Instinct’ helmer is in talks to direct an untitled Wendy Miller thriller, which has been described as ‘Risky Business’ meets ‘Fatal Attraction’.
The Story centres on a college intern who finds himself trapped in a dangerous affair with the boss’s wife.
Miller is penning a rewrite under Verhoeven’s direction. Alissa Phillips will exec produce the project.
The film is expected early 2009.
