Dirty Dance star dies at age 57
Actor Patrick Swayze has died at the age of 57.
Swayze’s publicist Annett Wolf said the US actor, who had been battling pancreatic cancer for almost two years, died with family at his side on Monday:
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” said a statement by Annett Wolf quoted by the Associated Press.
Best known his staring role in Dirty Dancing and Ghost, for which he received Golden Globe nominations.
