“Orphanage” director looks into Meyers’ “Eclipse”
Juan Antonio Bayona is reportedly the lead candidate to direct the third Twilight movie “Eclipse”
Summit, the studio behind the films declined to comment; a representative said producers were looking at a number of candidates.
Bayona’s name has come up in recent months, as one among an eclectic list of directors that’s ranged from Paul Weitz to Drew Barrymore to James Mangold.
Bayona, a protégé of Guillermo del Toro, last directed Spanish-language horror The Orphanage.
