OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN Enlists Radha Mitchell, Rick Yune and More

Cole Hauser and Melissa Leo also on board.

Deadline has word that Radha Mitchell (‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’) is to play Gerard Butler’ wife in the White House-set action thriller ‘Olympus Has Fallen.’

The film, co-starring Aaron Eckhart (‘The Rum Diary’), Angela Bassett (‘This Means War’) and Dylan McDermott (‘American Horror Story’), follows a down-on-his-luck ex-Secret Service agent (Butler) who becomes America’s only hope when the White House is seized by terrorists.

Mitchell’s ‘Pitch Black’ co-star Cole Hauser has also joined the cast and is set to play a Secret Service agent guarding the president.

Heat Vision adds that Oscar winner Melissa Leo (‘Flight’) and Rick Yune (‘The Man with the Iron Fists’) have also been added to the cast, with Leo set to play a tough secretary of Defense while Yune will play the villain, a North Korean posing as a South Korean ministerial aide who is described as a sociopathic monster.

Antoine Fuqua (‘Training Day’) is in the director’s chair with production set to kick off next week in Louisiana.
