Deadline reports that ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ actress Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis (‘Eastbound and Down,’ ‘Horrible Bosses’) have landed the leads in the comedy ‘Relanxious,’ the directorial debut of screenwriter Christopher Storer.
In the comedy Wilde will play Barrett, an anxiety-ridden woman who meets and is falls for an agoraphobic named George (Sudeikis). Due to their phobias, their courtship is limited to phone conversations in which they discuss the dates they would go on if their phobias didn’t stand in the way. As the fantasies develop, the two must decide if they can put aside their fears in order to find real-life romance.
Joining Wilde and Sudeikis for the comedy are Brie Larson (’21 Jump Street’) and Fred Armisen (‘Portlandia,’ ‘Saturday Night Live’). Larson will take the role of Barrett’s sister, while Armisen wil play George’s friend and only contact with the outside world.
