Long-gesting biopic eyes Oscar winners…

TheWrap is hearing that Jamie Foxx (‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2,’ ‘Django Unchained’) and Oliver Stone (‘Savages,’ ‘Alexander’) are talks to team up for Warner Bros. and DreamWorks’s Martin Luther King biopic.

Long in development, the Kario Salem-scripted film will follow the life of the African-American Civil Rights leader, and will mark the first time that King’s estate have allowed producers to us his intellectual property, such as his famous 1963 ‘I Have A Dream’ speech.

Fox and Stone previously worked together on 1999’s American football drama ‘Any Given Sunday.’
