Director Stone to tackle Don Winslow novel Savages
Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone has signed to helm an adaptation of the Don Winslow novel Savages.
The story centres on two drug dealers hatching a plot to rescue a kidnapped friend from a Mexican narcotics cartel.
According to reports, Stone will also produce the picture, his next project after directing Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.
The novel is scheduled for an April 23 release.
