Oliver Stone has officially just added Elizabeth Banks to his cast as First Lady Laura Bush.

Titled  ‘W.’ the film chronicles the life and presidency of George W. Bush with a screenplay written by Stone and Stanley Weiser. Josh Brolin will be playing the George W. Bush.

In related news, Stone has also cast Bush’s parents, with James Cromwell as George Herbert Walker Bush and Ellen Burstyn portraying the former first lady Barbara Bush.

Elizabeth Banks has just wrapped filming on ‘Zack and Miri make a Porno’

TIDBIT: The film is set, in part, during Bush’s’ presidency, yet Banks is 34 and Bush is 61. Lets hope this is one of the few factual inaccuracies!
