The trailer for Twelve Years A Slave have changed everything!
The release of a trailer for TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE last night have resulted in a series of large bets being placed at bookmakers Paddy Power, slashing the odds on actor Chiwetel Ejiofor winning the Best Actor award at next year’s Oscars from 20/1 to 10/1. Idris Elba remains the favourite at 9/2, while Leonardo DiCaprio follows at 5/1. Having never yet bagged an Oscar despite two nominations – this could be Leo’s year.
A spokesperson for Paddy Power said “We’re seeing a lot of money going down on Ejiofor and Elba – but can they keep Leo at bay? The punters seem to think so”
