Northern Irish Drama SISTERS Looking To Nab Tilda Swinton

Ciaran Hinds is on board, Tilda Swinton in talks.

‘Mickybo & Me’ director Terry Loane’s Northern Irish drama ‘Sisters’ is looking to land Tilda Swinton (‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’) for the lead female.

Northern Irish actor Ciaran Hinds (‘The Eclipse’) is already attached to the movie which is set in 1960s West Belfast, and tells the tale of a Irish mother, feminist, activist and nun who lands at a school and changes thousands of deprived kids’ lives around with her skills as a teacher.

Written by Ronan Blaney, the tone of the project is said to be along the lines of ‘Dead Poets Society’ meets ‘Sister Act.’
