Sigourney Weaver rules out Ghostbusters 3
Sigourney Weaver has confirmed that she will not star in the upcoming Ghostbusters film.
The actress revealed in an interview with TV Squad that she will not reteam with original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis to portray Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters 3:
“No, I don’t expect to have anything to do with it, although I wish them well. I just did a benefit with Bill and we love working together, but I think they’re trying to create something new completely with the Ghostbusters, although I know Bill is in it, commented Weaver.
She went on to add: “I hope my little son Oscar [from Ghostbusters II] is a Ghostbuster!”
