Dark Knight scribe David Goyer debunks rumours
Batman Begins and The Dark Knight writer David Goyer recently gave his input on the recent Batman 3 talk and according to Goyer – “it’s all B.S – ALL of it”. What B.S is Goyer talking about, well here’s the top 4:
* The National Enquirer and then MTV claiming Johnny Depp had been cast as Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin
* The UK’s Telegraph national newspaper saying Cher was to be cast as Catwoman
* Industry publication Production Weekly saying Nolan had signed on for the next Batman movie, with pre-production to begin in February
* Website Batman on Film also saying pre-production would start in February and filming would begin in summer.
Goyer added: “Chris [Nolan] and I haven’t even talked about it. He quite understandably is taking a long, long vacation and wants to purge himself.
“We have mused here and there [but] I mean Chris is pretty much a one-movie-at-a-time kind of guy. I wish I could tell you more. There really isn’t anything to tell.”
