Film will shoot in March…
The folks over at TheWrap have learned that Elle Fanning (‘Maleficent,’ ‘Super 8,’ ‘Somewhere’) is in negotiations to star in Nicolas Winding Refn’s next, ‘The Neon Demon.’
Fanning would take the lead in the female-driven horror tale, playing an aspiring model who finds herself caught in a world of beauty and demise.
“Elle Fanning is a super cool wonder woman and I look forward to going on a terrifying trip with her into ‘The Neon Demon,’” said Refn in a statement.
‘The Neon Demon’ is gearing up for a March start with Refn directing from a screenaplay he co-wrote with newcomer Mary Laws.
