Various media outlets are reporting that Nicolas Cage has signed on to topline the action thriller ‘Tokarev’ with Spanish filmmaker Paco Cabezas (‘Neon Flesh,’ ‘The Appeared’) in the director’s chair.
Scripted by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller, the tells the tale a former criminal trying to find his daughter’s kidnappers and avoid falling back into his past.
Production is currently planned for May with Richard Rionda Del Castro of Hannibal Classics producing. Patricia Eberle, Richard Salvatore, Cage, Mike Nilon, Hayley Magouirk, Jim Agnew, Sean Keller, Cam Cannon, David Milner and Martin Barab are executive producers.
