Variety is reporting that Nicholas Braun (‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ ‘Red State’) and Mackenzie Davis (‘Breathe In,’ ‘Smashed’) are in talks to star in director Robbie Pickering’s monster mash-up movie, ‘The Kitchen Sink.’
Scripted by Oren Uziel (‘Mortal Kombat: Rebirth’), the Black List screenplay follows a pair of teens (Davis and Braun) who form an unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army.
The trade adds that Josh Fadem (‘Awful Nice,’ ‘The Eric Andre Show’) and Chris Zylka (‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ ‘Piranha 3DD’) are also being eyed for roles.
Filming on the genre flick is expected to kick off this summer with Matt Tolmach (‘The Amazing Spider-Man’) producing.
