Lars and the Real Girl Helmer Craig Gillespie to remake Friday Night?

Craig Gillespie is in talks to direct a remake of th '80s horror-comedy Fright Night.


The Lars and the Real Girl helmer is currently in negotiations to tackle the project, according to the Los Angeles Times.


Th on a teenage boy who discovers that his neighbour is a vampire.


The original Fright Night was released in US theatres in 1985.

    Lars and the Real Girl was amazing but not sure if I like this. haven't seen the original but my stance remains... boo to remakes.

    The original was fun but it really doesn't warrant a remake, I wish Hollywood would use some original ideas rather than constantly throwing unnecessary remakes at us.
